Finances

We aim to be a group who give more than we get, and have a strong group of trustees who support us in being robust & transparent with all our policies and finances.

We aim to support our local and international community by giving away a minimum of 10% per year to people or projects in need of a blessing.

Families we’ve helped

As a family, we went through a very difficult time when our son was born extremely prematurely.

As well as praying for us, Generation church supported us financially so we were able to spend as much time with him as possible without worrying about financial pressures and returning to work while also caring for our daughter at home.

He was treated in a variety of hospitals and stayed in for almost 6 months. The financial support we received made a very stressful time more manageable and was such a wonderful gesture of love and support towards us.

Friday Friends

Friday Friends is hosted every Friday from 2pm for the over 60s.

Come and join us for a cup of tea and friendly chat.

The group made this ‘Friday Friends’ banner for all to enjoy.

Our international friends

We have an extended family in Kenya.
I’ve twice been able to visit our friends in rural Elburgon, Kenya. We hear updates of their work, not only in the churches and school, but inside the government, in feeding the community and using counselling training to speak on mental health in a national radio program. We continue to support this community with prayer, finances and friendship currently remotely, but hopefully in person again very soon.

How to donate

As a gathering of people we look to care and support each other and to bless our community. This only happens by the generosity of our people giving their time and finances. All our work is underwritten by Generation but some of our projects eg Foodbank are funded by specific donations and some small grants.

Donations can be made direct to the Generation CAF Account:

Account Name: Generation Church
Sort Code: 405240
Account Number: 00028765

If you would like your donation to fund a specific project then please contact us and let us know.

Thank you!
