Hi! Welcome to our ‘using this site’ page.

If you’re reading this, chances are, you’re the kind of person who likes to know how to use things, and appreciates a good diagram. Here’s a diagram of the site layout – click on it to see a larger version.

Legend

1. Logo – This is who we are. Click here at any time to take you back to the front page

2. Hello! – A list of links to lots of important website stuff — How you can find us, what we do, who we link with, all that sort of thing.

3. Upcoming Events – Guess what? It’s a list of the next few Generation calendar events. Click on each of them to find out a bit more.

4. News – Here’s where all the latest articles go. Click on each of these to read them. This’ll be the most regularly updated section. Keep a close eye here, or follow it independently using RSS.

5. Information – Including a search bar (type things in here to see if they’re mentioned anywhere on the site), Categories (Every article on the site is organised into categories. Click on one of these to see anything related to that topic.), Archives (Click on each month to see all posts added during that month) & ‘Techie’ (sign in to be able to leave comments on some articles, use the RSS feeds)
